The Broadband Equity and Advocacy Community of Practice (COP) is designed to foster strong peer relationships and collaboration between municipal and county government entities and their employees, broadband stakeholders at Merit Member organizations, and nonprofits. This group is an opportunity to learn from and support one another through the process of seeking reliable, high-speed Internet access for all.
Discussion areas include network ownership models, navigating federal funding, and infrastructure planning, build-outs, maintenance and operation.
The Broadband Equity and Advocacy COP is presented together with the Michigan Broadband Alliance.
The Community of Practice – meeting quarterly and access to the online collaboration platform. The cost for this is $299 annually.(As of February 2024)
