What is “Social Learning?”

“Social Learning” is integrated with our courses. We use LearnDash, a Learning Management System, and the BuddyBoss platform for community engagement to enable social learning by integrating membership in Groups and discussion Forums with select Courses. BuddyBoss is a hard fork of BuddyPress, which we began using in 2010 to build a community engagement member website for the American Association of Independent Music. Other websites we built included integrating online courses with community engagement for Management Sciences for Health. The LeaderNet website, that we built for them and maintained in 2014 and 2015, was funded by USAID. We designed and developed a social network with online courseware for healthcare administrators in Africa fighting HIV, TB, Malaria and Ebola.
