Mark Shelden has been with Pavlov Media since 2020, serving as the Vice President of Government and Community Relations.  In that role he engages with communities across the country as they develop their plans to improve broadband access and adoption for their residents.  He has led Pavlov Media’s successful effort to open up new municipal markets in Illinois, Texas, and Florida with even more aggressive plans in the next three years.  Additionally, Shelden led the company’s effort to secure a major public and private partnership in Texas.  Internally, Shelden has leveraged his data skills for better analytics and marketing.

Shelden joined Pavlov Media after a career in local, state, and federal government including service as the elected County Clerk and then elected County Recorder in Champaign County, Illinois.  He served as Chief of Staff for Congressman Tim Johnson (IL-15) for the Congressman’s final two years in office.
