Claude Code 2.0 for Non-Coders: From Chat to Coordinated AI Work

This course turns the Claude desktop app’s Code tab into your everyday workbench, even if you have never written a line of code. It is built on Ben AI’s free Claude Code 2.0 Guide and two companion videos: Ben AI’s walkthrough of the new features (“Claude 2.0 is Insane”) and Tech With Tim’s configuration deep dive (“Learn 99% of Claude Code in One Video”).

What you will be able to do

• Run Claude on the folders of your own computer, with the right permissions and a clear plan.
• Give Claude lasting context with CLAUDE.md files, memory, output styles and skills.
• Connect your tools through connectors (MCP) and automate guardrails with hooks.
• Split big jobs across subagents, nested chats and Projects, and run work side by side.
• Publish shareable docs, slides, designs, dashboards and motion graphics.
• Do all of it responsibly: least-privilege access, human review before anything is sent or deleted, and attention to whose data you are touching.

How the course works

Each lesson has a short explanation, copy-paste prompts to try, links to the matching video chapters, a suggested reading list, and a homework assignment. Upload your homework at the bottom of each lesson. Work in a practice folder first, not in folders that hold anything you cannot afford to lose.

A note on versions: Anthropic rolls features out gradually and by plan. Buttons may look different in your app, and some features (Projects, Dashboards, Motion) may be in beta or missing on your plan. When something is not there, note it in your homework and move on.
